PROTECTION SCHEME Protective measures by control electronics: Initiation of protective measure in dangerous situation is controlled by Control Electronics. MCE monitors a range of values such as voltage, current, temperature, pressure and other signals. Catenary voltage out of range When catenary voltage drop down below 17.0 KV and raise above 30 KV VCB will open automatically.
