HABIBGANJ – THE FIRST PRIVATE STATION OF INDIA

Bhopal: Habibganj became the first private station in the country. On Thursday, the Railways handed over all rights to Avane to private company Bansal Hathway Private Limited on Thursday. Now the Railways will be responsible only for the operation of the train. Significantly, Railways has tied up with private company Bansal to make Habibganj Station World Class under PPP mode. Under this, Bansal Company will provide facilities on the lines of International Airport at the station.

However, the station will take three years to build a world class. Now the Bansal company will have all the facilities inside the station, such as parking, catering, etc. and the company will also get income from this. Now the Railways will not be able to get revenue of about Rs. 2 crores annually.

भोपाल: देश का पहला प्रायवेट स्टेशन बन गया हबीबगंज। रेलवे ने गुरुवार को अवने समस्त अधिकार प्रायवेट कंपनी बंसल हाथवे प्रायवेट लिमिटेड को सौंप दिए। अब रेलवे केवल गाड़ी संचालन के लिए ही जिम्मेदार होगा।

गौरतलब है कि रेलवे ने पीपीपी मोड के तहत हबीबगंज स्टेशन को वर्ल्ड क्लास बनाने के लिए प्रायवेट कंपनी बंसल के साथ करार किया है। इस के तहत बंसल कंपनी स्टेशन में इंटरनेशनल एयरपोर्ट की तर्ज पर सुविधाएं प्रदान करेगी।

हालांकि अभी स्टेशन को वर्ल्ड क्लास बनने में तीन साल का समय लगेगा। अब स्टेशन के अंदर सभी प्रकार की सुविधा जैसे की पार्किंग, खानपान आदि पर बंसल कंपनी का अधिकार होगा और इससे होने वाली आय भी कंपनी ही लेगी। रेलवे को अब लगभग 2 करोड़ रुपए सालाना का राजस्व प्राप्त नहीं हो सकेगा। – News Track Live
